Iowa City Paintings 2021

Begun in 2017

  • Acrylic on paper (22.5″ x 30″) and Masonite (3′ x 4′)
  • Pasted elements, rubbed on paint, scrubbed, repeat.
  • Space-stacked, abstracted items still identifiable.
  • Yin & Yang simplicity.

But, after all, the aim of art is to create space – space that is not compromised by decoration or illustration, space within which the subjects of painting can live.”

Frank Stella, New York City, NY
